A bit more

In addition to the multifaceted education I received at Hacettepe University's Department of Psychology, I served as a commission member and executive board member of the Student Unit of the Turkish Psychologists Association. This allowed me to collaborate with psychology students, mental health professionals, and academics in Ankara, organizing various training sessions and seminars. Furthermore, I participated in the Industrial and Organizational Psychology Research Laboratory (EVÖLAB), founded by Dr. Savaş Ceylan, a faculty member at Hacettepe University. This allowed me to develop scales, conduct case studies and share experiences, and observe and research personality traits and their impact on professional life. I also completed various training and certification processes as a volunteer with AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency). I graduated from Hacettepe University in 2021 with high honors, earning the title of psychologist. I pursued my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Hacettepe University. During this period, I had the opportunity to deepen my clinical knowledge and conduct clinical interviews and test applications. I completed my postgraduate education as a TÜBİTAK-BİDEB scholarship recipient. In addition to my studies at school, I have followed current developments by attending trainings from associations and schools such as Harvard Medical School, the International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA), the American Psychological Association (APA), the National Institute of Health (NIH), and the Mindspring Mental Health Alliance. During my master's degree in clinical psychology, I studied narcissism, addiction, stress management, and psychiatric symptoms. In July 2023, I graduated as a clinical psychologist with my thesis titled "The Mediating Role of Coping Styles in the Relationship between Narcissistic Competition, Admiration, and Vulnerability Traits and Addictions and Psychological Symptoms." Throughout both my education and supervision, I observed the importance and impact of cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and humanist approaches, and gained observation and experience on the use and integration of various techniques. I continue my studies in psychoanalysis. Currently, I participate in various local and international seminars and reading groups to deepen my theoretical knowledge and understanding. At the same time, I continue my own analytical process and supervision. I am continuing my education primarily through peer supervision and sharing experiences.
