Valentina Telhaj

Valentina is an expert in the field of mental health with extensive experience in psychological counseling. She completed her University studies in Psychology and holds two master's degrees, one scientific in "Psychological Counseling" and another in "Legal Psychology". Currently, she is pursuing her doctorate in the field of mental health. Throughout her career, she has contributed as a psychologist and specialist, helping with psycho-social and emotional support and rehabilitation of individuals in need. For several years, Valentina has worked at the Administrative Unit of Tirana and is currently engaged with the State Social Service, at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection. Additionally, she works as an external expert at the Psycho-Social Department of the Albanian-European League, where she manages teams dedicated to improving psycho-social and emotional wellbeing. Through her clinical work, she has had the opportunity to contribute to mental health improvement, both at national and international levels. Currently, she continues to contribute as an external Lecturer and actively participates in national and international scientific conferences. Valentina has also specialized in Psychotherapy, having completed advanced training in CBT, EMDR, ABA therapies, as well as positive psychotherapy, with a special focus on trauma treatment and continuous professional development. She treats cases with high efficiency in the field of mental health, both in Albania and abroad.
