A place in the first cohort

Bliss Therapy first announced on 10 March 2025 that it had been accepted into the first cohort of Plug and Play’s accelerator in Albania. The Plug and Play Tirana Accelerator Program was introduced on 29 January 2025 at the Pyramid of Tirana and is set to run five cycles over three years.

In April 2025, AlbaniaTech listed Bliss Therapy among the 22 startups selected for the programme, as a health technology company offering culturally sensitive therapists to the Albanian diaspora.

A first direct investment

On 11 May 2026, Plug and Play announced its first direct investments in Albanian startups, backing six Batch 1 companies: Synaps, Insect Intel, Bliss Therapy, Infinitcode.ai, NEKOD and kidsday. The announcement credits the Albanian-American Development Foundation with a key role in enabling the initiative.

Six weeks in Silicon Valley

The Batch 1 founders also completed a six-week GOAL programme in Silicon Valley. Founder Jona Doda said that since Plug and Play’s investment, the company’s access to global investors and strategic partners “has accelerated significantly”.

Jona later said it was during the GOAL programme that she first heard about One Way Summit, where Bliss Therapy pitched in October 2026.
